Join us each week for more “geeky stuff”.
We grow 5 varieties of wine grapes! Tempranillo, Graciano, Garnacha Tinta and Alvariño are our main grape varieties, as well as a dozen Orange Muscat vines and four table grape vines along our driveway for shade (and raisins)!
The varieties ripen at different rates and are generally picked at different times. In this picture, you can see how the Tempranillo (bottom row), Graciano (next four rows up) and Garnacha Tinta (top three rows) enter dormancy at different times in the fall.
Do you want to learn something about…

- Winemaking?
- Grapegrowing?
- How we farm the land?
- Our garden?
- Why we do the things we do?
- Or even more about that quirky couple, Marty & Ryan?
Please feel free to leave us a question in the comments below and we’ll feature one or two on our next “Ask a Question Wednesday”.
